Ramblings from Philosophy to Technology

The first text editor I stumbled upon was the notepad++ , minimal and orthogonal features not too long ago I switched from it to the profound and loved vscode which was quite terrible and wonderful for

Artwork

certain programming such as coding c/c++ on it is terrible and after setting necessary compiler and debugger, it glitches out making me fixes it every now and then then I had to switch to good old Turbo C++ made me feel like I was in love .

Then I tried out Vscodium the open source and non debloated version of vs code ; it was different in the sense that it was good and better than Vscode but lacks portability to other operating systems .

I decided to try out the most hyped and glorified Emacs , hoping to find a text editor that truly catered to my every need. As I delved into the world of Emacs, I was immediately struck by its vast array of features – it was like nothing I had ever seen before.

At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of customization options available to me. I spent hours tinkering with every little aspect of the editor, fine-tuning it to my exact preferences. But as I grew more comfortable with Emacs, I began to appreciate its true power.

With Emacs, I could do anything. From coding complex algorithms to writing entire novels, the editor was a jack-of-all-trades. It was like having a Swiss Army knife for my computer.

But perhaps the most impressive aspect of Emacs was its ability to seamlessly integrate with other tools. With just a few keystrokes, I could run a shell command or launch a web browser – all without leaving the editor. It was like having an entire operating system at my fingertips.

As I which was worst and terrible made me wonder what went wrong then I moved to Vim and found happiness.

Remove your kids from the private or public schools you've enrolled them in and use the money intended for their tuition and other costs for their maintenance and well-being, or deposit it in a mutual savings account for your kids.

Revolution

Why send children to school when they would scarcely learn anything and hardly find what interests them, not to mention that the curricula the schools use are useless and out of date?

From infancy until adolescence, you homeschool your kids before sending them to college.

Get a tablet for your child, and fill it with educational materials, such as audio, video, and ebooks, to get them started on their education early.

At the state library, apply for a library card for your kid.

Enroll your child in a variety of activities, such as athletics, music, and painting.

Get your ward some board games like chess.

If your kid attend school, he/she do so mostly to make friends rather than to learn.

Private schooling costs money and requires time, yet both require assistance.

As more parents choose to homeschool their children, organized classes, superb teaching resources, and cooperative organizations are being created.

Lecture

Circuit theory

Although, according to legend, the circuit theory course was one of the simpler, became my scarecrow the first semester since the lecturer actually a female made things worse for the students. But I must say that my HOD, she was coming out to students very accommodating and perhaps only thanks to her I am with this object abraded she crawled through her ears as he narrowed both eyes more than the final ones papers.

Another plus was the entertaining lectures of Dr Ndidi, who she sees the clock as, as she herself says, “friendly conversations” and not at all tries to discuss students as equals, the curriculum interweaves constant jokes often aimed at each other – but just bored you will not. She even started the opening hour with a light bulb spell ( which is still not clear to anyone ) to see that she is taking the lesson a little with an overview. The substance was presented slowly enough and clearly.

I learned to walk through old papers on half-square. In the end, she was not insidious and with an absolute result of 12 points out of 20 I was still willing to settle for. As far as I can remember, it was about simplification of resistive circuits, loop current methods and similarly.

I only had to work independently on my siwes or ask about them. Siwes project defense it always lasted a few minutes and its content was a demonstration by a student to the lecturer ( simply say something what / how you did in the siwes ). But it was no stress, it was done in a few minutes.

In the subject of Software development technique, I finally learned programming properly language C and Dr Okoye added a lot of things from what I knew. I did too when solving projects, he got very well acquainted with the operating system Linux, in which the easiest projects were to write. I can say that this course was certainly not only one of the key for me in the first semester and it was definitely a great advantage to go into it at least with the basics C language.

lecture

When I was getting into the prestigious ESUT, I was very vague in a lot of things and I had no idea what I was getting into. However, you may not have to meet nothing like that, as I have prepared an evaluation for you all courses completed so far at the uni I've been attending. If so you are preparing for the Faculty of Engineering BUT ( abbreviated FEG ), you are at the right address. I will not forgive a few at the beginning notes:

Hello World

I was accepted at ESUT on the basis of Jamb and post utme with a percent of 199 in my Jamb Shortly afterwards, I graduated at the St Anne's College (DDL) in Abakpa, among other things, I made an excellent result in my WAEC and NECO, which made me think about myself as my mom pressured me to do pharmacy. At the first lectures at ESUT, I would be in the back sit reading the art of computer programming by donald knuth.

What’s So Great about C?

man coding

C is often considered to be one of the most powerful and versatile programming languages.

It has been around for over four decades and is still widely used today, despite the numerous newer and more advanced languages that have been developed in recent years.

There are many reasons why C is better than most programming languages, and in this article, we will explore some of the key advantages that make it stand out from the competition.

One of the biggest advantages of C is its performance.

C is a compiled language, which means that it is converted into machine code that can be directly executed by the computer's processor.

This makes C programs very efficient and fast, as they do not have to be interpreted by a runtime environment like many other languages. This makes C particularly well-suited for applications that require high levels of performance, such as operating systems, web browsers, and other low-level software.

Another key advantage of C is its portability. C programs can be easily compiled and run on a wide variety of different platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

This means that a C program written on one platform can be easily transferred and run on another platform with minimal changes. This makes C a great choice for developing cross-platform applications, as it allows developers to write code that can be used on multiple platforms without the need for extensive rewriting.

C is also known for its flexibility and expressiveness. The language is relatively low-level, which gives the programmer a lot of control over the way the program is executed. This makes it possible to write efficient, compact code that can be easily optimized for performance.

At the same time, C also provides a wide range of powerful features, such as pointers, structs, and bit manipulation, that allow developers to easily manipulate data and perform complex operations. This makes C a great choice for developing a wide range of different applications, from simple command-line utilities to complex, high-performance software.

In addition to its performance, portability, and flexibility, C is also known for its readability and simplicity. The language has a relatively small and straightforward syntax, which makes it easy to learn and understand.

This makes C a great choice for beginners, as it provides a solid foundation for learning other programming languages.

At the same time, experienced programmers can also benefit from C's simplicity, as it allows them to quickly write and debug code without getting bogged down by complex or unnecessary syntax.

Overall, C is a powerful and versatile programming language that offers a wide range of advantages over other languages.

Its performance, portability, flexibility, readability, and simplicity make it a great choice for developing a wide range of applications, from low-level software to complex, high-performance systems.

Whether you are a beginner looking to learn your first programming language, or an experienced developer looking for a language that can handle complex tasks, C is an excellent choice that is sure to meet your needs.

Mountain

Engineering mathematics was the first mathematical subject with which fresh engineering students take on , They would come to ESUT and for which they will have to visit from time to time also the ugly ( Faculty of Engineering ) – but only later.

I would like to begin with wanted to mention that Engineering Mathematics is by no means complexity at the level of topology and there is no need to worry about it any more than other subjects.

The content is mainly the basics of university mathematics – various evidence and mathematical structures are discussed for most students newly in university style.

New ones will meet you mathematical notations and a slightly accelerated way of explaining the substance ( no long stopping or counting of sample examples on lectures ), the speech will also come up with more complex things like L'hospital rule, however, only the simpler ones are required in the end matters.

At the lecturer teaches, you can see that you are living in his own topological world. Sometimes he may explain the substance too complicated, but otherwise it is a normal mathematician ( if this can even be said ), which tries to make students understand the substance as best as possible. Teasing students in his lectures is the only thing it can mix it.

What most people did not understand in the lectures, they have written notes of taking place in small rooms on the already mentioned Engineering faculty. Here you will find a slightly friendlier approach – Engr Dishi the Engineering mathematics lecturer, was able to explain to us in ten minutes what took half an hour in the lectures, even so that we are everyone understood that. The scope of the exercise was mainly counting examples, either by the teacher or by one of the randomly selected students and also a few scoring assignments that I'm from he used to have the full number of points. The only downside for me was my department computer engineering and its surroundings, which I really hate very ugly probably due to the lack of maintenance, infrastructure and the department's backward lecturers ( you have to see for yourself this menace of a department ), especially compared to the beautiful Unilag's computer engineering department: :)

Engineering mathematics is definitely not an unmanageable subject, although it has ESUT largest credit rating in the first semester. But not so do not underestimate the subject, it is definitely worth going to practice and here and there to pay attention to the lectures, even if the knowledge gained you will definitely use it only marginally other than on the paper.

A Narrative of the Late Massacres in ìgbo land

Biafra Genocide+ Fulani massacre of Igbo people

Nigeria

The Biafra War was a conflict that took place in Nigeria from 1967 to 1970. It was a war fought between the Nigerian government and the secessionist state of Biafra. Biafra declared its independence from Nigeria on May 30, 1967.

Should igbo people be given freedom to separate from Nigeria

There is no easy answer to this question. While some people may argue that the Igbo people should be given the freedom to separate from Nigeria, others may argue that such a move would be detrimental to the country as a whole. Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to allow the Igbo to have their own state is very much pending.

I get questions like igbo people should defend themselves from Fulani herdsmen and that they're weak when it comes to protecting themselves

No, the Igbo are not weak when it comes to fighting Fulani herdsmen. The Igbo have a long history of fighting against Fulani herdsmen, and they have been successful in many cases.

Why do Fulani herdsmen kill igbo people and not the yorubas?

There is no one answer to this question as there are many factors that can contribute to why Fulani herdsmen may kill Igbo people. Some possible reasons include:

  • Igbo people may be perceived as a threat to Fulani herdsmen and their livelihoods.

  • Fulani Herdsmen are on a mission

  • Someone's sponsoring Fulani herdsmen to cause havoc in igboland.

The Fulani herdsmen were always a peaceful people. They were known for their gentle nature and their love of animals. However, in recent years, the Fulani herdsmen have become increasingly violent. They have been linked to a number of attacks on villages in the south east of Nigeria.

The solution to stop the killing of igbo people by Fulani herdsmen is for the Nigerian government to provide more security in the affected areas and to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the attacks like using drone warfare , satellite reconnaissance etc.
